A video to welcome all football fans to the greatest sports competition on Earth! The FIFA World Cup Finals 2010 are being held in South Africa, the first the Finals have ever been held on the African Continent. With an estimated 2 Billion plus spectators expected to tune in, history is being made on the wildest landlmass on the planet. This video contains footage from the FIFA World Cup 2006 – Germany, the FIFA World Cup 2010 – South Africa official advertisement and the South Africa Tourism Advertisement. The music used is from the motion picture Transformers, song title Scorponok.

    Not that impressed sadly. Nice try though. I preferred the original. Sticking a sound track over somebody elses work this is.

    had you cut clips from different videos and put them together with the sound track it would have been better. It is a dark theme tune so would require clips of losing, pentalty misses and tension. Not clips of elephants and tigers and celebrations.

    Still, always interesting to watch what people put together so thanks :)

    the other half is from the south africa tourism advert XD, but I couldn’t find the original BBC/German coverage which the U2 one uses :-(
